Travel Ledge began with one road warrior looking for a little more space.
Michael Bell spent 25 years traveling the country selling IT services. Airports became familiar. Useful personal space did not.
The starting point
The recurring problem was not travel. It was the space between destinations.
Michael learned how to move through airports efficiently, but crowded gates kept creating the same problem: drinks on the ground, a laptop balanced in one hand, a phone in the other, and few clean surfaces nearby.
He and his wife Julie live in Bend, Oregon, where travel and outdoor activity are part of family life. Travel Ledge grew from Michael’s search for something light, quick to use, packable, wipeable, and practical enough to carry trip after trip.
