Your information

Privacy notice

Effective July 31, 2026. This notice explains the information Travel Ledge receives through this website and how it is used.

Information the website collects

The newsletter form collects an email address and the signup source. The contact form collects first name, last name, email address, selected topic, message, and submission time. Anti-spam fields may be used to reject automated submissions.

  • Do not submit payment information, passwords, government identifiers, or sensitive personal data.
  • The site does not currently create customer accounts or accept direct payment.

How information is used

Contact information is used to respond to questions and manage product or business inquiries. After a contact form is submitted, Travel Ledge sends a confirmation to the visitor and sends the message to the Travel Ledge team for review. Newsletter information is used to send the requested welcome email, occasional practical travel tips, Travel Ledge product news, and related updates.

  • Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe method.
  • Contact submissions are not added to the marketing list unless the visitor separately subscribes.
  • Contact submissions are not sent to analytics as personal data.

Storage and service providers

Contact and email signup submissions are stored in the website’s Cloudflare D1 database through the hosting platform. Resend processes subscriber contact records and sends Travel Ledge website emails. Hosting and security providers may process technical request data needed to deliver and protect the site. If a visitor accepts optional analytics, Google Analytics processes the related website usage data.

  • Amazon processes information for purchases completed on Amazon under Amazon’s policies.
  • Google Analytics is configured without advertising signals or ad personalization.
  • Travel Ledge does not sell newsletter or contact-form information.

Retention and deletion

Travel Ledge keeps contact submissions only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain necessary business records, prevent abuse, or resolve an issue. Newsletter signup records may be retained until the visitor unsubscribes or the list is discontinued. Unsubscribe events may be kept so Travel Ledge can honor the request.

  • Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, the contact form, or email sales@travelledge.com to request access, correction, deletion, or removal from the email list.
  • Some information may need to be retained for security, legal, or recordkeeping obligations.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics is optional and does not load unless a visitor selects Accept analytics. When accepted, it may collect page views, general device and browser information, approximate location, referral source, scrolling, and link interactions so Travel Ledge can understand website use. Google may set analytics cookies such as _ga. The website saves the visitor’s analytics choice in browser storage.

Selecting Decline keeps the Google Analytics tag off. Visitors can reopen Analytics choices from the website footer at any time. Changing a choice stops or allows future collection on that browser; it does not remove information already processed.

  • Advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalization, and Google signals are disabled.
  • Names, email addresses, contact messages, and form-field values are not sent to Google Analytics by Travel Ledge events.
  • Hosting and security providers may still use strictly necessary technology to deliver and protect the website.

Changes

This notice may be updated when website features or service providers change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
